Os polietilenos podem ser classificados em:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PEBD <em>(em&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/L%C3%ADngua_inglesa\">ingl\u00eas<\/a>&nbsp;conhecido como LDPE ou PE-LD): Polietileno de Baixa Densidade; At\u00f3xico<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Flex\u00edvel<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Leve<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Transparente<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Inerte (ao conte\u00fado)<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Imperme\u00e1vel<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Pouca estabilidade dimensional, mas com processamento f\u00e1cil<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>e<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>Baixo custo<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>PEAD<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong><em>(em ingl\u00eas conhecido como HDPE ou PE-HD): Polietileno de Alta Densidade; densidade igual ou maior que 0,941 g\/cm\u00b3. Tem um baixo n\u00edvel de ramifica\u00e7\u00f5es, com alta densidade e altas for\u00e7as intermoleculares. A produ\u00e7\u00e3o de um bom PEAD depende da sele\u00e7\u00e3o do&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Catalisador\">catalisador<\/a>. <\/em><\/strong><ul><li><strong><em>Resistente a altas temperaturas;<\/em><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><em>Alta resist\u00eancia \u00e0 tens\u00e3o; compress\u00e3o; tra\u00e7\u00e3o;<\/em><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><em>Baixa densidade em
